Hire gives you exclusive use of the whole castle, including its 35 en-suite bedrooms (accommodation is included), the salt-water pool, rooftop garden, courtyards and terraces, along with coordination on the day. Catering, drinks, styling and entertainment are arranged around your plans, either through our packages or à la carte, and we can take care of all of it for you.

There are three packages designed to suit different styles, budgets and guest counts. Each begins with a welcome reception, followed by a multi-course banquet from the castle's culinary team, a tiered cake and a glass of Cava for the toasts, and bar service, with optional upgrades. Everything can be tailored, and our concierge service will personalise any detail, from extended bar hours to bespoke florals.

You can marry in the open-air loggia beneath the Moorish arches, in the intimate courtyard, or out in the gardens with the valley as your backdrop. We will match the setting to the time of day, your guest numbers and the mood you are after.

Yes. Castillo de Monda is licensed for civil marriage, and symbolic, religious and humanist ceremonies can also be arranged. We guide you through the options and the paperwork, and confirm the current requirements with the local authorities.

The castle hosts weddings from around 10 up to 120 guests for the ceremony and reception, and sleeps up to 72 on site. It suits both intimate celebrations and larger gatherings equally well.

With a two-night minimum stay, there is no rush. Most couples enjoy a relaxed recovery breakfast or a poolside brunch with their guests before saying their goodbyes, and we can arrange it all for you.

Yes. The lovely Iglesia de Santiago Apóstol sits in the centre of Monda, just a few minutes from the castle. Dating from the early 16th century, it makes a beautifully traditional Andalusian setting for a Catholic ceremony before you head up to Castillo de Monda to celebrate, and we will coordinate the timings and transport between the two for you.

Lots, both around the castle and down on the coast. In the surrounding Sierra de las Nieves you can arrange hiking, horse riding, cycling and bike tours, while Marbella, around twenty-five minutes away, offers beaches, water sports and jet skis, boat and yacht charters, golf and spa days. The pretty white village of Monda sits right below the castle, wrapped by the Sierra de las Nieves National Park and its viewpoints such as the Mirador de la Peragüera. Marbella's old town and Puerto Banús are a short drive, and the clifftop town of Ronda, the village of Mijas and the city of Málaga make memorable day trips, with Granada and the Alhambra within reach for a longer stay.

Closer than you might expect. Although the castle is surrounded by mountains and countryside, Marbella's beaches are only around 20 minutes away by car, so your guests get peaceful hilltop scenery and easy access to the Costa del Sol coastline.
