Pettolecchia La Residenza
Pettolecchia La Residenza, Puglia
La Residenza sits between Fasano and Savelletri, on the stretch of coast that has quietly become the most exclusive corner of Puglia. It is a private estate rather than a venue that also does weddings: eight hectares of ancient olive groves, protected by UNESCO, with a lawn, a pool deck, a panoramic rooftop and a private beach club a short distance away.
The house keeps its Apulian bones. Original stone floors, rustic stairwells and the traditional botte ceilings, the rounded vaults you find in the old masserie, sit alongside five suites with private entrances, terraces and sea views from the upper floor. It comes fully staffed, with a butler, daily housekeeping and a private chef.
This wedding venue suits couples who want the whole week rather than the weekend. The estate lets exclusively and strictly by the week with all services included, which is unusual, and it changes what a wedding here is: less an event with guests staying over, more a holiday that happens to contain a wedding.
The spaces
The Lawn
A wide green lawn among the olive trees, which takes the ceremony and, at the larger end, a reception of real scale.
The Pool Deck
The natural spot for a drinks reception, taking around 100 guests with the water and the gardens around you.
The Rooftop
A panoramic terrace above the house, best used for the aperitif or the cake, with the olive groves running down towards the sea.
The Olive Groves
Eight hectares of ancient trees under UNESCO protection, for photographs and for a dinner among the trunks.
Il Lido
The collection's own private beach club nearby, with a reserved area for guests. A good answer to what everyone does the day after.
The Villa
Five suites with private entrances, three on the ground floor opening onto the garden and pool, two above with terraces and sea views.

Staying at La Residenza
The house sleeps 10 across five suites, each with its own private entrance. Three sit on the ground floor and open onto the garden and pool; two are on the first floor with large private terraces and views out to the sea.
The estate lets by the week, which makes the accommodation question rather different from most venues.
Ten beds is a small number against a guest list that can run to 500, so almost everyone stays elsewhere. What you are buying is a week of the estate for your closest people, fully staffed, with the wedding at the centre of it. Fasano and Savelletri have some of the best hotels and masserie in Puglia within a few minutes, which is where the rest of your party will be.
- On site: 5 suites sleeping 10, each with a private entrance, air conditioning and terrace or garden access
- Nearby: Fasano, Savelletri and Ostuni have hotels and villas at every level, all within a short drive
The Pettolecchia Collection also includes La Piccola and La Fortezza nearby, so it is sometimes possible to take more than one property for a larger party. Worth asking about early.
What a wedding here costs
La Residenza is let exclusively and strictly on a weekly basis, with all services included, and is priced on request rather than published. Because it is a week rather than a night or a weekend, it sits differently from other venues and is worth comparing carefully.

Pettolecchia La Residenza
Very few places in Puglia let you take an estate, its staff and a private beach club for a whole week, and fewer still have eight hectares of protected olive grove around them.

- A private beach club for the days either side
- Fully staffed, with a butler and a private chef included
- A rooftop, a pool deck and a lawn, so the day can move as it likes
- Between Fasano and Savelletri, the best-served corner of the region

Common questions about Pettolecchia La Residenza
How many guests can La Residenza hold?
+
Up to 100 around the pool area and as many as 500 in the gardens, which makes it the largest capacity of the Puglian venues we work with. Only 10 can sleep on site, so the great majority of your guests will stay nearby.
Is it really let by the week?
+
Yes. The estate is let exclusively as a whole and strictly on a weekly basis, with all services included. That is unusual and it is the single most important thing to understand about it: you are taking a week in Puglia with a wedding inside it, not hiring a venue for a day.
What does that mean for the cost?
+
Pricing is on request rather than published, and it is not directly comparable with venues quoted per night or per day. We will get you a full quote and set it beside the alternatives so you can see what you are actually paying for.
Who cooks?
+
Catering is in house, and the estate comes with a private chef alongside the butler and daily housekeeping. For the wedding itself there is a list of preferred suppliers to work within.
Can we legally marry there?
+
The sources we have do not confirm a civil ceremony licence, so we would check that with the estate before you commit. Many couples marrying in Puglia complete the legal formality at home and hold a symbolic ceremony here, which removes the question entirely.
Tell us about the beach club.
+
Il Lido is the collection's own private beach club on the property grounds nearby, and guests staying at the estate have access to a reserved area. It is a genuine advantage for a week-long wedding, because it answers what everybody does on the days either side.
Is there a music curfew?
+
No curfew. Music is permitted outside, which with eight hectares of olive grove around you is less of a constraint than it sounds.
How far is the airport?
+
Both Bari and Brindisi are a short transfer away, and both take direct flights from the UK and across Europe. Savelletri and the coast are minutes from the gate.
What else is in the Pettolecchia Collection?
+
Three properties and a beach club, all close together: La Residenza, La Piccola, La Fortezza and Il Lido. For a large party it is sometimes possible to take more than one, which is worth raising early if your guest list is beyond what one house can sleep.
Can you plan our wedding at La Residenza?
+
Yes. The estate offers optional in-house coordination, and we work alongside or instead of it depending on what you want. We plan and coordinate weddings across Puglia and the rest of Italy, and we will be straight with you about whether a week-long let is the right shape for your celebration.
